Sheffield Half Pint Marathon 2017

The Sheffield Half Pint Marathon, now in its third year, is a month long celebration of some of Sheffield’s best independent beer pubs and bars. It is aimed at giving people a chance to make a contribution to a great local charity, Sheffield Mind, support independent local businesses and explore our wonderful city.
Find your Half Pint Marathon card from any of the 13 fantastic pubs participating and throughout May enjoy The Wall, a new American Hopped Session Pale Ale, brewed with our friends at True North Brew Co.
Once you have imbibed The Wall in each venue and your card is fully stamped please hand it in to The Forum Kitchen + Bar to be entered into the prize draw to win fantastic prizes from across Sheffield, including Half Pint Marathon T-shirts, The Wall mini casks, brewery tours, tasting sessions, beer, and much, much more.
13 of Sheffields finest pubs are involved including: The Stags Head, The Greystones, The Hallamshire House, The Bath Hotel, Riverside, The Forum, The Old House, The Waggon & Horses, The York, The Broadfield, The Kelham Island Tavern, The Brothers Arms & The University Arms.

For 2017, our chosen charity partner will be #ChallengeDerbyshire, formed in 2015 to raise money for three amazing local charities, Ashgate Hospicecare, Blythe House Hospice and Helens Trust.
They are commited to ensuring they continue and thrive enabling them to deliver care and support for EVERYONE in North Derbyshire who needs it! We are so lucky to have these three charities, working together we can ensure we keep them for the years to come.
Blythe House Hospice adds quality to life by providing the highest levels of care for people affected by cancer and certain other life threatening illnesses and supporting those who are bereaved. Over 1000 people access Blythe House Hospice services every year.

Ashgate Hospicecare is a local charity providing care to people across North Derbyshire, with any life-limiting illness, helping them to live for every day. Ashgate Hospicecare Nurses make 3,000 home visits every year.

Helens Trust aims to help remove the barriers that may be preventing a person from staying at home by funding and providing care and equipment. Helens Trust helps over 150 people with terminal illness across North Derbyshire every year.
