We are once again welcoming you to Riverside Brewery for the Thornbridge Brewery Socials on the last Wednesday (5-9pm) & Saturday (12-8pm) of every month throughout the year!

You can expect a wide selection of Thornbridge beers, awesome street food vendors, brewery tours and it is also a great opportunity to visit our Brewery Shop. 

There will be a selection of TEN different cask & keg of Thornbridge beers pouring just a stones throw from The Brewhouse. We pride ourselves on serving fantastically fresh beer so this is a great opportunity to try some Thornbridge favourites plus some of the rarer beers you may not have seen before. 

This year, there will be culinary delights from the always fantastic Nether Edge Pizza Company as well as Eats & Beats, serving contemporary street food alongside music & DJs. There will also be "proper pie and mash" from Pie Eyed. 

Our Brewery Shop will be open giving you the chance to buy our full range of bottled beer, mini casks as well as loads of great Thornbridge goodies and branded clothing. 

We will also be conducting tours of Thornbridge Brewery*. See behind the scenes in the Thornbridge Brew House and hear the Thornbridge story from one of our guides. The price includes a souvenir glass and samples of our award winning beer. Wednesday socials at 6pm & 7pm and Saturday Socials at 3pm&5pm.

This April sees the release of a new creation based on a Thornbridge classic, Mango Halcyon! 

We have infused our famous Imperial IPA with a TONNE of mangoes over 2000 litres of beer to create a fantastically fruity new beer this spring. This is the 4th release from our Year of Beer calendar, with many more exciting treats to come. 

To celebrate the release of Mango Halcyon, we are touring the country, sampling the beer with 11 Tap Takeover events at some of the finest bars and pubs around the country. 

The first 24 people to arrive at the chosen venues will also get a bottle of Mango Halcyon to take with them!

This week the Thornbridge Team are in London for London Beer City, a celebration of beer spread across some of the city’s finest venues with some fantastic events.

For London Beer City we have been at Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell for a Thornbridge Tap Takeover as the pub has become The Thornbridge Arms!

With 21 lines of keg beer and 13 cask, this has been a special week so far and we have had a fantastic turn out so far to try what is probably the most varied range of Thornbridge beer on any bar in the country right now. 

Last night, we also hosted a special tasting of our Barrel Room Series beers. This included James & Meg doing a de-construction of our Barrel aged collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery as well as a tasting of our World Beer Cup winning sour beers. We had such a blast that we are hosting another one this Thursday! 

London Craft Beer Festival 2016

This weekend also sees the return of the always fantastic, London Craft Beer Festival. We are very proud to be able to once again showcase our beer here amongst some of the best breweries in the land. We are bringing along some special beers including our Big Breakfast Stout, Fika & our new Double IPA, Huck.

We can’t wait for Peakender 2016, the Thornbridge Festival of Beer this Summer from the 1^st- 3^rd of July

We’ve had a fantastic amount of interest in the festival and as a result our on-site camping for the event has now sold out.

There is however a lot of great local accommodation to take advantage of;

The Worlds Most Handsome Bike Ride returns to the Peak District once again for a weekend of vintage bikes, marvellous moustaches and of course, great beer!

Sheffield Beer Week 2016 is set to be fantastic this year and we are getting ready for a busy week!

Steve Hindy, the founder of Brooklyn Brewery will be coming to The Hallamshire House where Steve will tell the fascinating story of how Brooklyn came to be, you will also have the chance to have a chat with him with a complimentary beer!

For St. Patricks Day, The Bath Hotel will be the location of the first pour of Bronx, our brand new Irish American Stout! Our brewers will be at the pub from 6pm so you can try the beer in the company of the people who brewed it and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have. 

Then, from 8pm Dom from the brewery will be hosting a tasting of 5 beers from our special Thornbridge Hall Range including our Imperial Raspberry Stout, brewed with Swedish brewery, St. Eriks.

£5 a ticket for bottle tasting available from Bath Hotel. Meet The Brewer will be a free event.

Sheffield Beer Week is blessed with the return of SIBA Beer X which brings the best brewers from all around the UK to The Steel City at Ice Sheffield for a fantastic weekend of beer! With the addition of great food, music and live sport over the weekend, this is an event not to be missed!
